It was raining again. It rained every day.
また雨が降っていました。毎日雨でした。
“Only a shower,” Nick’s father would say.
「ほんのシャワーだよ」 ニックの父親はいつも言っていました。

“Nothing to worry about.” And the family would agree, even Nick, and they would walk on laughing and talking to each other while Paolo followed after them, the rain hitting his face and running down the back of his neck.
